The Staff at Pebbles look forward to showing you and your child around. If you would like to take a look at our setting then please contact us to arrange a suitable time.

Please feel free to take as long as you need looking around Pebbles and ask as many questions as you would like. If your child is happy playing we can have a cup of tea and answer any further questions.

Once your child starts at Pebbles you will work closely with the Key Worker to see how your child settles in.

If your child becomes upset, we will call the parents to discuss and we can arrange for shorter sessions, until they are more comfortable with being dropped off.  It can be a big change for children and their parents, so we like to make sure that both parents and children are happy.

SNACKS AND LUNCH

We ask that you provide a small healthy snack in a named container for your child, if they are attending all day, please provide them with lunch.

This will be kept in the fridge until lunch time. We are a completely nut free zone so please double check that no nuts or peanut butter is put into snacks or lunch. If a snack is forgotten we do have healthy snacks (raisins or school fruit flakes) that we can provide your child with.

Free milk is provided at snack time and water is always accessible at all times.

MEDICATION

We can also administer medication with written consent and the medicine needs to be in the original box from the chemist with the sticky label with dosage information. A declaration will need to be completed.

CLOTHES & SUNCREAM 

Please provide your child with a spare change of clothes, just incase of any accidents or they get wet playing with water.

We also request that a pair of wellies are bought in when it is raining so if your child wants to go outside they have the appropriate footwear.

In summer months we can apply suncream but we request that you provide a named bottle.
